“2014 was a good year for NIBE and despite global uncertainty, with an unpredictable economy, dramatic falls in the price of oil and considerable currency fears, we have seen growth in both sales and profit,” says NIBE’s Group CEO, Gerteric Lindquist.
“We combine aggressive marketing initiatives and regular product launches with a firm cost-conscious approach and constant improvements in efficiency. Alongside this strategy we are also expanding through corporate acquisitions and 2014 saw the completion of nine international acquisitions with combined sales of approximately SEK 1.2 billion.
“Our global market presence has increased and we are now well represented on four continents, providing excellent opportunities for future growth.”
“As we have stable profitability, a strong standing in the market and are well-positioned for making additional acquisitions, we are cautiously optimistic about 2015 as a whole, despite continued global uncertainty,” says Gerteric Lindquist.
NIBE also announces that Arvid Gierow, Chairman of the Board of NIBE Industrier since 2003, will not be standing for re-election in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting on 11 May.
